Government Agency CE program
At the March Board meeting, the Board voted to reinstate the pandemic CE program, with some changes It will now be the Government Agency CE Program, and apply only to ODH, ODA, ODM, ODMH, CDC, DODD, and/or CMS conference calls/webinars. The Topics must be applicable to the practice of long-term care administration. If yu attend a conference call/webinar from one of these agencies, you may submit the form to Lora Hedrick at firstname.lastname@example.org. within 30 days of the program date for approval. The modified form and instructions are available here Government Agency CE Attestation form. Please read the instructions for further details. If you attended the ODH/ODA webinar on Feb. 23 or 24, that will count towards the program, as long as you complete the form. Otherwise, the program is effective March 4, 2022.
The Ohio Board of Executives of Long-Term Services & Supports (BELTSS) approves Continuing Education courses for Licensed Nursing Home Administrators (LNHA) and Licensed Health Services Executives (HSE).
Things to know:
- A nursing home administrator is required to complete twenty (20) credit hours of continuing education per renewal period (annually).
- Only (10) credit hours are accepted for self-study/distance learning/webinar of continuing education per renewal period (annually).
- Continuing education credits may not be split and applied to more than one renewal period.
- Extra courses during your renewal period can be used towards the next renewal period. You may go back fifteen (15) months from your renewal date, provided you do not split any courses.
