Become a Continuing Education Provider

A group of approximately six adults are seated and one of the women is asking a question while the others look at her. Everyone seems happy and interested in the conversation.

BELTSS conducts a continuing education review process to ensure that programs meet high standards for program content, presenter qualifications, educational objectives, and detailed agenda. 

To request to become a provider send an email to Lora Hedrick at lhedrick@age.ohio.gov or call 614-466-5114.  Include the organizations name, primary contact name, and phone number.  You will receive an email from the CEU Provider system to register with a link  and a user name.

The board recognizes two (2) types of continuing education providers: Certified and Preferred

Certified    

  • Accredited college or university
  • Statewide or national government agency relating to long-term services and supports administration education.
  • Statewide or national association or professional society relating to long-term services and supports administration education.
  • Society, organization, or individual having a specific and primary educational focus on long-term services and supports administration education.

Fee Structure: Initial application fee of $250 | Biennial renewal fee of $150 | $15 per continuing education hour or partial hour reviewed.

Preferred 

  • Must first be a Certified Provider for at least a year and offer at least fifty (50) courses a year.

Fee Structure:  Annual fee of $750 | Biennial renewal fee of $150
