Continuing Education Credit for College Courses

College courses may be used to meet continuing education requirement upon approval from the BELTSS office.  Email  dveley@age.ohio.gov and provide a course description/syllabus indicating the course being used, provided that:

  • The course was taken at an accredited college or university.
  • The course relates to the practice of nursing home administration.
  • A grade of “C” or better was earned for the course.
  • An official transcript is sent to the board directly from the college or university.

The CE conversion rate is 10 continuing education hours for every one hour of quarter credit and 15 continuing education clock hours for every one hour of semester credit.
