Qualification: Completion of a Nursing Home Administrator Program approved by the National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB), with the degree awarded.

For college programs in nursing home administration certified by NAB, go to NAB's website. For further information about these degree programs, please call the college program directly.  If you are about to graduate or have graduated from one of these college programs, email jsee@age.ohio.gov with the following subject: “College Program Application Request.” Include the following information:

1. Your name
2. Mailing address
3. Telephone numbers where you can be reached
4. The college you graduated from
5. Last four digits of your social security number
6. Date of birth

We will email an application to you. After the board has reviewed and approved your application, you must pass the National, CORE, and State examinations authored by NAB and conducted by PSI.  For information on examination go to NAB's website and click on Exam info.
